Declaration of AMCA

AMCA was founded based on the Declaration of Malang, on 15th June 2012 at University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Indonesia. Charter declaration was signed by the 13 representatives from four different countries of Southeast Asia, namely: Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and Cambodia. Aims & Purposes

The aims and purposes of AMCA shall be to: Strengthen mutual understanding, relationship and cooperation among the Muslim community in ASEAN.Strengthen the foundation for the prosperous and peaceful the Muslim community in ASEAN.Ensure the social program and culture development.Promote active collaboration and mutual assistance on matter of common interest.Establish and maintain close and beneficial cooperation with existing international and regional organizations with similar aims and purposes. Association of Muslim Community in ASEAN (AMCA) is a forum which is created for closer relationship among the Muslim community in ASEAN region.
